Biography:

Tansi, my name is Bethany Thomas. I am a proud Cree woman born and raised on my home community of Big River First Nation Treaty Six Territory in Canada. I am a mother of two teenagers, a young man and a young woman. I am proud of my ancestral lineage and my Cree culture. I was fortunate to have been surrounded by my culture right into my adult years. I am currently completing my Masters of Indigenous Social Work studies to continue the work in being a part of our healing community. Ninaskimon- I am grateful
